The DE LAMA S.p.A. company, founded in 1949, is one of the most established and qualified manufacturers of sterilization systems, with equipment supplied all over the world.
The management and production unit, which has been constantly expanding over the years, is located in San Martino Siccomario (about 2 km from Pavia and about 30 km south of Milan).
De Lama was born thanks to the intuition of its founder, Engineer Franco De Lama, who…
A COMPLETE PORTFOLIO IN THE WORLD OF STERILIZATION
Over the years, as can be seen in the path marked by the History of the site, De Lama has progressively expanded the range of sterilization products by offering an absolutely complete portfolio of solutions: from the classic saturated steam sterilization technology, arrived also the air-steam mixture, the hot air sterilization using sterilization and depyrogenation ovens, the superheated water autoclaves, the EtO (Ethylene Oxide) ones and finally the aforementioned HyPerPure® technology, with hydrogen peroxide under high vacuum and zero air.
THE EVOLUTION FROM AN AUTOCLAVE MANUFACTURING COMPANY TO A LEADER COMPANY IN THE STERILIZATION, WASHING AND DECONTAMINATION PROCESSES
De Lama’s catalogue, over the years, has also expanded beyond pure sterilisation, also offering hydrogen peroxide decontamination systems (pass-box), which were the progenitors of HyPerPure® technology, washing systems which have become increasingly more advanced and complete, hot air and vacuum dryers and, finally, steam generators both to serve the systems sold and as ‘stand alone’ products.
INNOVATION AS A DRIVER
The History section of the site highlights the enormous quantity of innovations that De Lama has brought to the market since its inception.
Some inventions today represent milestones in the world of sterilization tout-court. The ability to innovate, to propose continuous innovative solutions
TOTAL CUSTOMIZATION AS ‘STATE OF MIND’
De Lama’s approach, which has proven successful over the years, was that of total customization. With this we intend to affirm that De Lama, as a company philosophy, does not produce machines in series, but each plant is built ‘ad hoc’ starting from blank paper, or rather, from the customer’s specifications, being able to work on a very wide range of options and solutions.
INTERNATIONALIZATION
Since the beginning, De Lama has participated in industrial fairs abroad, in Europe and overseas, becoming over the years one of the most well-known high-level global companies in its reference sector.
In countries as diverse as South Korea, Bangladesh or Cuba, the name De Lama has become synonymous with ‘autoclaves.’
The international approach has allowed De Lama to evolve, to make his ‘mindset’ increasingly flexible and capable of addressing different cultures, but also different regulatory and industrial situations.
IMPORTANT INVESTMENTS IN THE MOST ADVANCED PRODUCTION MACHINERY
The production machinery park present in De Lama is absolutely complete and, first of all, cutting-edge: you can see machines for laser cutting of steel, machines with innovative water cutting, welding robots, very large milling machines and much more.
DE LAMA’S STAFF AND VERY LOW TURN-OVER
Over the years, the staff, hand in hand with the turnover, has continued to grow constantly and organically, reaching over 100 current employees. And the trend does not stop continuing, indeed, a progressive acceleration is imagined.
What has always been one of De Lama’s flagships is the high specialization of the staff, the constant updating in training and ‘in the field’, all accompanied by a very low turnover.
TOTAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, AND AFTER-SALES AS THE FINAL OBJECTIVE
Moving in a critical sector, where the safety of both workers and the final product are simply a “must”, De Lama has always placed the emphasis on total customer satisfaction, at the time of sale, at delivery of the order and in the years to follow.
A CONTINUOUSLY EXPANDING COMPANY, BUILT ACCORDING TO THE ‘STATE OF THE ART’ WITH A TOTALLY GREEN VOCATION
De Lama has been continuously expanding over the years since its inception, and in recent years it has continuously accelerated. This has happened and is happening both from the point of view of growth in space and production machinery.
